Double your Dine & Discover vouchers in Sydney

Make the most of your Dine & Discover vouchers! Here are some places that are doubling your discount.

If you’re a Sydney resident, you would have received your Dine & Discover vouchers from Service NSW over the past few weeks. Some cafes and restaurants have decided to double this offer the NSW Government is giving out and on top of the $25 you already get off the bill, they will give you a further $25 off!

Without any further delay, here are some places you can visit to make the most of your Dine & Discover voucher and double your discount.

Bungalow8, Sydney

Situated just out of the Sydney CBD, Bungalow8 surprises you with its beachside tropical vibes. Being right on the waterfront you can enjoy a cocktail and meal and feel as though you are on holiday. The day time at Bungalow8 is quite relaxed, while the night is more of the party scene.

With a doubled Dine & Discover voucher, you can’t pass this option.

Park House, Mona Vale

The Northern Beaches of Sydney is quite the hot spot and it comes with many delicious meal options. Park House in Mona Vale is great in our perfect Sydney weather with their outdoor seating and social spaces. On their menu you can find your classic pub meals with a few specials if you are wanting something a bit different.

If you’re on the Northern Beaches and wanting to double your Dine & Discover voucher, here is your place.

The Fiddler, Rouse Hill

For those out in the Hills District, The Fiddler is a popular location since it was refurbished a number of years ago. With many dining options to pick from, you can decide if you wish to relax at a cozy table or sit by the bar. The outdoor courtyard area is stylishly designed and perfect on a nice sunny day.

You’ll definitely enjoy the food here and you’ll enjoy it even more when you double your Dine & Discover voucher.

Easy Lane, Windsor

The rural Hawkesbury region now has quite a few good meal options. One of those being Easy Lane, that is situated inside Windsor RSL. Easy Lane has all your classic meals as well as a few specials. It is a little smaller than your usual RSL, but the food and atmosphere make up for it.

It is also a nice drive out here if you aren’t a local. Road trip plus a doubled Dine & Discover voucher sound good to me.

Camden Valley Inn, Cawdor

Another rural location is in Cawdor in the Macarthur region of Sydney. Camden Valley Inn is a unique country side pub/hotel with beautiful scenery. This is your ultimate casual dining experience and there is plenty of space for everyone. There is even a playground for the kids!

This sounds like heaven – a playground for the kids and a doubled dine & discover voucher!

Enjoy your meals and savings! Let us know if you know any other places offering to double the vouchers.

Top 5 pasta places in Sydney

Is this rainy weather in Sydney causing you to crave a nice big bowl of pasta? Well, you’re not alone! We are craving it too. So, we have thought of all our favourite pasta places we’ve visited of the years and complied a list for you. Lets consider it the top 5 places to find pasta in Sydney.

1. Italian Bowl

We had to put this place at the top of our 5 places to find the best pasta in Sydney. The options are endless and we haven’t tried an option yet that hasn’t been delicious. You can basically pick any sauce on their menu (there’s a lot) and add any pasta of your choice to it. The kitchen is on display too so you can see all your meals come out fresh and piping hot! Make sure to add a slide of garlic bread, because what is a bowl of pasta without a slice.

2. Belmonte Italian Cuisine

For those in the Hills District of Sydney, you cannot go past Belmonte’s pasta dishes. Another huge menu with too many options to pick from, so there will be a dish for everyone. This place has a very old fashioned family feel to it and it shows in their meals. The portions are huge and the pricing is decent. We would recommend their marinara pasta, it’s huge and full of seafood!

3. Assembly Bar

If you’re in the CBD and stuck with the endless options of food places, Assembly Bar is a great option. They are underground and have quite a few pasta options, with vegan varieties available as well! If you go during the week they have some great deals on their dishes. Perfect for a work lunch or dinner and there is a bar on the side if you need a drink after a long day of work.

4. Macchiato

Another CBD option you need to try is Macchiato. This restaurant is huge and so is the menu! There are some mixed reviews online, however, the recent time we went (there was a group of 10 of us) no one had anything but compliments to say about the place. We tried everything from pasta, pizza and main meals! They also have a great bar here as well if you want to accompany your pasta with a nice glass of wine.

5. Verace Pizzeria

Last but not least is Verace Pizzeria in Macquarie Park. Another perfect place for a work lunch or weekend gathering. We tried their seafood pasta dish and it was fresh and delicious – there were also quite a few other pasta dishes to pick from. The dishes were the perfect size for us as well with a added slice of garlic bread haha!
